The Animal Origin Products Inspection is a system that aims to ensure the quality of a food before it’s commercialization. The inspection can be done by the Federal Inspection Service (SIF), São Paulo State Inspection Service (SISP) or by the Municipal Inspection Service (SIM). Generally the most common is SIF.
The Federal Inspection Service (SIF), is a control system of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply that assesses the quality in the production of edible or inedible animal foods.
